Over the years, I have incorporated numerology, astrology, sacred geometry and other areas of study in making my special new age healing jewelry. Those of you who have studied or worked with sacred geometry, including the plutonic solids and the merkaba, will tell you that these are representations of the building blocks of the universe, and are symbolic of not only matter, but of the etheric as well.
We know that much of the universe as well as the human body is designed with the proportions represented in the Golden Mean. In fact, Leonardo DaVinci illustrated the human body in relation to this.
Those who have taken Drunvalo Melchizedek’s “Flower of Life” course will tell you that our bodies also include sacred geometry. Actually, everything has its own merkaba around it, as if to remind it to maintain its structure. Each of our physical, mental and emotional bodies has its own merkaba in it, and since the three fields are superimposed, so are each of their corresponding merkabas, the only difference being that the one for the physical body is locked and does not rotate like the other two. The merkaba for the emotional body is female, magnetic in nature and rotates to the right. The merkaba for the mental body is male, electrical in nature and rotates to the left.
A merkaba is a star tetrahedron, formed from two four-sided pyramids interlocking to form something that looks a lot like a three-dimensional Star of David. There is a vertical energetic tube running through this shape, as well as through the whole human body. Learning to breathe through this “tube” will open and align all the chakras and thereby the kundalini energy. Using the visualization of this form in association with breathing techniques will assist in healing on all levels, release of deep-seated traumas and miasms, and will assist in channeling the higher energies and protecting one’s self from the lower energies. A physical form of a merkaba worn on the body also has great potential as a tool, and has proven useful in psychic protection, assisting in attaining a meditative state, and boosting one’s intuitive capacity.
